We Rise Better Together.
Illuminate Your Creative Potential with Sunrise Art Club
Sunrise Art Club, by Elise Swopes, specializes in planning mixers and curated galleries for brands and individuals. We create immersive experiences that make a lasting impact. Our focus is on wellness, empowerment, and cultural activations.
We believe biology is the best tool to face our global challenges. We use locally produced agro-industrial fruit waste as raw material to craft a sustainable leather alternative. By manufacturing with the building blocks of life and circularizing supply chains, we produce a superior material while prioritizing our planet.
Natural systems are cyclical; waste becomes nutrients that initiate new growth. By learning from nature, Polybion™ developed a production model that is not linear but a loop, simultaneously alleviating three major environmental problems: livestock, food waste, and plastic. This represents a paradigm shift from centuries of resource-mining practices to the regenerative cultivation of resources. Polybion™ is proud to be leading this charge.
Founded by brothers Axel and Alexis Gómez Ortigoza with Bárbara González Rolón, PhD, Polybion™ is a diverse group of biotechnologists, chemists, biologists, engineers, financiers, creatives, designers, and political scientists. We take inspiration from natural processes and organisms, and we share a common dream to create a better world.
In-House Projects
Sunrise Art
The Sunrise Art NFT project is a unique and impactful initiative by digital artist Elise Swopes. The collection features 365 distinct NFTs, each representing a sunrise in Chicago captured on her iPhone over two years. More than just visually compelling digital art pieces, these NFTs fund Swopes' mission to empower women of color in the web3 space through the Sunrise Art Club.

The Night on the Yard project is a unique initiative that leverages the power of NFTs to shed light on the hidden impact of incarceration. As an NFT project, it features a virtual gallery [link] with curated works from incarcerated artists, allowing them to express their creativity and share their experiences. The project is brought to life by Sunrise Art Club and is dedicated to making a social impact, highlighting the potential of NFTs beyond just digital art and collectibles.
Lunar Blossoms
Cel (derived from the word cellulose, the most abundant organic polymer on Earth) + ium (the Latin suffix used in chemical elements)
The Lunar Blossoms NFT project, an initiative of Sunrise Art Club, is a unique collection of 7777 randomly generated NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain, brought to life by two women of color, Alyssa and Byanca. Serving as lead artists and developer apprentices, their work underscores the power of mentorship, education, and inclusivity in the web3 space. The project introduces unique digital collectibles and amplifies underrepresented voices, demonstrating the potential of diverse perspectives in shaping the future of digital art and blockchain technology.
Swopes Gallery
Cel (derived from the word cellulose, the most abundant organic polymer on Earth) + ium (the Latin suffix used in chemical elements)
Swopes.gallery, created in 2021, is an educational and meditative art gallery and event space. Ogar designed the Swopes Gallery in Voxels, a virtual world, in collaboration with Swopes. The first floor is a gallery space with over 30 NFTs with a backyard for live performances hosted through Twitch or YouTube. The second floor is an affirmation haven with written quotes by Swopes; the third is Web3 education. On the other hand, the roof is a breath of fresh pixels where one can relax.
